• In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of niobium science and technology in China’s automobile and transportation sectors, Mr. Marcos Stuart, the foreign expert of CITIC Metal, won the 2019 Chinese Government Friendship Award and received by national leaders and leaders of CITIC Group.

• Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with CBMM’s former Marketing Development Manager, Mr. Pascal Bodinon, who received the annual government “Friendship Award” for his excellent work in China in Beijing, capital of China, Spring 2006.

Community Affairs & Charitable Events

• CITIC Metal actively fulfills its social responsibilities and continues to contribute to the development of education in underprivileged regions. In 2024, the Company co-founded a mental health support public welfare brand themed “Wellness·Resilience·Growth: Caring with Commitment, Belonging through Support” and established the CITIC Metal Mental Health Support Mobile Service Station. Focusing on the core mental health needs of adolescents, the Company provided professional support services to designated partner schools in Qianjiang District, Chongqing. Dedicated funds were donated to Shaba Town Central School to support the engagement of professional psychological counseling institutions, thereby enhancing the school’s mental health service capacity. In 2025, the Company further strengthened its educational support efforts by carrying out public welfare donation activities at Siyuan Experimental School, Liangxinzhai Primary School in Niujiaozhai Town and Minzu Primary School, Yuanyang

• The Company thoroughly implements General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on rural revitalization and fully leverages the role of trade union organizations to continuously strengthen consumption-based support initiatives and to promote industrial revitalization and increase income levels in supported counties and districts. In recent years, CITIC Metal has actively connected with commodity resources from counties and districts designated for targeted assistance by the Working Committee of the Central and State Organs, as well as several nationally supported counties, helping drive the development of local specialty industries.

• CITIC Metal has maintained close cooperation with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Northeastern University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute for many years. The Company established the “Niobium Steel Graduate Scholarship” to enhance the breadth and depth of industry–academia–research collaboration and explore new models for talent development. As of 2025, CITIC Metal has invested RMB 4.23 million in scholarships, encouraging more than 962 outstanding doctoral and master’s students in niobium-related scientific research and cultivating a pipeline of future talent in niobium science and technology.
